What our community learned about showing up, standing out, and moving forward

Winning in the AI Workforce: Key Takeaways from Our Latest Community Webinar
Our community just came together for one of the most energizing conversations we’ve had this year. Pooja, AVP for Global Workforce Solutions & Talent at OneForma, took the stage for our latest webinar — Winning in the AI Workforce: From Getting Selected to Shaping the Future — and the response from participants across the globe was nothing short of fantastic.
Community members from all backgrounds and experience levels joined the conversation, and the takeaways were ones people could start applying straight away.

Your Skills Are the Foundation

One of the most powerful moments of the session came early on, when Pooja reminded everyone in the room of something that too often gets overlooked:
“It is your knowledge, your experience, your skills that matter the most when it comes to building the next generation AI.”
Whether you come from a linguistics background, a tech field, a creative discipline, or anywhere in between — what you bring to the table is exactly what this industry needs. AI is being built by people, and the more diverse and rich those perspectives are, the better the outcome for everyone.

How to Stand Out on the Platform

Pooja got into the practical details of what it takes to grow within OneForma and land more complex, better-paying projects. The message was clear: consistency is your superpower.
“Reliability and repeatability within our platform are the two key things that will help you get to the next level and be engaged in more and more complex jobs going forward.”
And for those who’ve already been putting in the work? There’s a real reward waiting:
“When you become an engaged user on OneForma, we stop putting you through standard certifications because we know you’ve already taken them. You skip that entire level and go straight into a client project.”
That’s not just a perk — it’s recognition. A signal that your effort and dedication have been noticed, and that the platform is designed to reward those who show up and deliver.

Take Your Time, Do It Right

Perhaps the most grounding piece of advice from the session was also the simplest:
“Please try not to rush the work. Understand the guidelines correctly. Sometimes the guidelines could be complex — because it is complex work.”
In an industry that moves fast, it can be tempting to prioritize speed over quality. Pooja’s reminder cuts through the noise: the work matters, and doing it well is always worth the extra effort.

Missed It? We’ve Got You Covered

If you couldn’t make it to the live session, don’t worry — a highlights video will be available next week, and the full webinar recording will also be released soon. Keep an eye on your community feed so you don’t miss it.
